Tantra Yoga Retreat

Course Duration: 10 Days / Residential / Certification

If the word Tantra conjures up scenes of sexuality, you’re not alone. The introduction of Tantric practices in the West has inadvertently become identified with a practice that’s laced with nudity, sexuality, and occasionally, promiscuity.

Tantra says, accept whatsoever you are. You are a great mystery of many multidimensional energies. Accept it, and move with every energy with deep sensitivity, with awareness, with love, with understanding. Move with it! Then every desire becomes a vehicle to go beyond it. Then every energy becomes a help. And then this very world is nirvana, this very body is a temple – a holy temple, a holy place

“Tantric yoga is a form of yoga practice that’s aligned with tantra, an ancient spiritual practice originating in India, Tibet, and other parts of Asia. … Tantra means “to weave” in Sanskrit, and classical tantra is all about reaching spiritual enlightenment through connecting with your energy.

The exploration of the subtle energies within the body and their connection to the universe provide the opportunity to understand the purpose of life and the principles of union in new dimensions.

What do we teach?

Tantra starts from the body with Hatha Yoga to the mind with Astanga Yoga to the chakras with Kundalini Yoga to the sounds with Mantra Yoga and ending up to oneness with Shiva Shakti Yoga. Therefore we incorporate those 5 yogas in our Tantra Yoga Class and our teaching.

Each of our classes will be a combination of asanas, pranayama, and mantra in order to awaken our subtle energy and make us move through the whole body. As the energy is moving from down to up, it balances and heals the chakras allowing us to become more vibrant and in harmony with ourselves and others.

  • Asana combined with chakra awareness
  • Pranayama to activate and balance the energy.
  • Mudras to energize the entire system and Bija mantra meditation.
  • Bandhas to move the energy throughout the whole body.
  • Yoga Nidra – with the tantric practice.
  • Chakras meditations to balance and heal the chakras.
  • Ajna meditations to open the 3th-eye.
  • Ayurveda Lifestyle and Diet to come back in harmony with nature.
  • Tantric Rituals to connect ourselves with the universe.
